Overview
SecurePair is provided by RGT Software Ltd. This privacy policy explains how SecurePair handles information when you import, validate, install or share WireGuard VPN profiles using the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV apps.
Information you enter into the app
SecurePair may process the profile information you choose to provide, including profile names, WireGuard configuration text, QR code contents, imported configuration files, endpoints, public keys, private keys, peer settings and local device transfer details.
On-device storage
SecurePair is designed to keep VPN profile information on your device unless you choose to share it. Profile data and related settings may be stored locally on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, and private keys should be treated as sensitive information.
Camera and QR codes
If you scan a WireGuard QR code, SecurePair uses the camera to read the code and import the profile contents. Camera access is used for scanning only.
Local network and Apple TV transfer
SecurePair may use your local network to discover the Secure Pair TV app, pair with it and transfer a validated WireGuard profile when you choose to upload one. Transfers are initiated by you and should only be used with Apple TV devices you trust.
VPN configuration
SecurePair may create or manage VPN configurations using Apple network features on supported devices, including Apple TV where Secure Pair TV is installed. VPN connection activity is handled by the operating system and by the VPN endpoint configured in your profile.
RGT Software Ltd servers
RGT Software Ltd does not operate a server for storing SecurePair profiles in this version of the app. The Apple TV upload flow is designed as a local network transfer between your own devices.
Support emails
If you contact support, your email address and the information you include in your message will be used to respond to your enquiry. Do not send private keys or full VPN profiles unless specifically requested and you are comfortable sharing them for support purposes.
Data deletion
You can delete profiles and app data from within the app where available, or by removing the app from your device. Support emails can be deleted on request, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.
