QuietScribe stores captures locally by default. The Higher Accuracy Online mode may use Apple server-backed recognition, while Private On-Device requests on-device recognition when the selected language and device support it.

- Recordings, transcripts, generated outputs and app settings are kept in the app's local library unless you export or share them.
