Support information for QuietScribe recording, importing, playback, transcription, language settings and exports.

Email support@RGTSoftware.com. Include "QuietScribe" in the subject line, your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version and a short description of the issue.

For recording, importing audio, playback, transcription, export and settings, read the QuietScribe User Guide.

Common checks

  • Make sure QuietScribe has microphone permission if you are recording directly in the app.
  • Make sure Speech Recognition permission is enabled if transcription is unavailable.
  • Check that your selected transcription language matches the recording.
  • If Private On-Device transcription is unavailable, the selected language or device may not support on-device Apple Speech recognition.
  • If a transcript is poor, try clearer audio, less background noise, a closer microphone and the correct language setting.
  • If imported audio does not appear, confirm the file is a compatible audio format and available locally in Files.
  • If sharing is unavailable, check that the selected capture has generated text and that the chosen share destination is available on your device.

Purchases and restore

QuietScribe Pro is designed to use App Store subscriptions where available. Purchases, refunds and billing are handled by Apple. Use Restore Purchases in Settings if a previous App Store purchase is not recognised.

Data and backups

QuietScribe stores captures locally by default. Use export, share or Save to Files when you want a copy outside the app. Check exported files before deleting captures from the app.
