Survey Snap Pro User Guide

How to create surveys, capture evidence, preview reports, manage Premium and understand iCloud sync.

Quick start

  1. Open Survey Snap Pro and choose New Survey.
  2. Select a survey type or template, then add the client, property or site details.
  3. Add areas such as exterior, rooms, services, plant, communal spaces or custom zones.
  4. Capture photos, notes, issues, measurements, checklist items and supporting documents while you are on site.
  5. Preview the PDF report, review the content, then subscribe to Premium if you need final export, sharing, printing or email.

Dashboard and survey list

The dashboard shows active surveys, archived surveys, photo counts and open issues. Use search, status filters and sort controls in the survey list to find current or archived survey records.

Areas, issues and measurements

Use areas to organise rooms, zones or site sections. Issues track severity, status, recommended actions and optional estimated costs. Measurements record dimensions, readings, counts and other survey values for the final report.

Photos and documents

Use Import Photos to attach selected images from your library, or Camera on supported devices. Each photo can have a title, caption and area link. Documents can be imported into the document register for certificates, floorplans, notes or supporting files.

Checklist templates

Checklist items help track completion before a report is issued. Premium unlocks the full template workflow. Free users can still create a custom survey and preview watermarked PDF output.

Signatures

Premium users can capture client and surveyor sign-off. Signature capture supports drawing with touch or Apple Pencil, and typed sign-off is available as an accessible fallback.

PDF preview and export

Every user can preview a generated PDF report. Premium unlocks final PDF export, sharing, printing and email. Review the preview before sending it to a client, contractor, insurer or colleague.

Company details and branding

Add company profile details, contact information and a logo from Settings. Branding is saved locally; final branded PDF export requires an active Premium subscription.

iCloud sync and privacy

Survey Snap Pro stores survey data on your device and can sync supported data through your own Apple iCloud account when available and enabled. RGT Software Ltd does not operate a custom survey cloud.

Deleting records

Deletion controls ask for confirmation before removing surveys, areas, photos, issues, measurements, checklist items, documents or signatures. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletions may also affect synced copies on devices using the same Apple Account.
