QuillMemo: Voice to Text keeps your meeting notes connected to the conversation, so you can revisit a detail before sharing it.
Record your meeting
Choose Meeting or Dictation, then record with pause and resume controls. An active recording can continue with the screen locked. After an interruption, you choose whether to resume.
Check a passage
Adjust playback speed, move back or forward ten seconds, or choose a time marker in the original transcript. Playback and time markers need retained audio.
Make the notes yours
Edit your transcript and notes, review changes before updating outputs, and restore the version replaced by an update. Read the original transcript whenever you need to check the wording.
Choose how you transcribe.
Select your language and add names or specialist words as hints. Transcription covers the recording; unfinished results are labelled as partial. Retry a missing part or transcribe the same retained audio again.
- On this device uses on-device recognition when Apple supports your chosen language and device. It never silently switches online.
- Use Apple online is your choice and may send audio to Apple for recognition.
- Automatic summaries and structured notes are available for English recordings. Other supported languages offer transcripts and notes you can edit yourself.
- Recordings and notes are saved on your device. No account or cloud-sync service is required. Recognition quality still depends on audio, language and Apple support.

Use Pro to turn English conversations into drafts you can review and use. Notes stay grounded in the transcript, with no invented owners or due dates.
Meetings and actions
Review key points across the conversation, stated decisions and editable action items. Check an action before choosing its list and adding it to Reminders.

Organise interview questions, answers and quotes, or separate field observations, issues and stated next steps.
Journals and email drafts
Keep journal notes in your own voice. Prepare an email from selected notes, then choose the recipient and review it before sending.
Find, keep and share.
Search the full library, keep favourites and pinned recordings together, or archive a meeting and restore it later.
- Copy, Share and Save to Files use the text you have selected and saved. Export retained original audio when you need the recording itself.
- Swipe left to reveal Delete, then confirm before removing a recording and its text. Archiving does not delete it.
- Audio is kept by default. Optional removal happens only after complete transcription and notes are saved, not after a failed or partial attempt.
