User guide
For setup, vehicles, estimates, detailing jobs, checklists, condition evidence, handover PDFs, business details, backup tools and Pro access, read the Detail Ledger User Guide.
Common checks
- If a job is not listed as active, open Jobs and check whether the job stage is Completed or Archived.
- If a checklist is not what you expected, review the package template used when the job was created. Existing jobs keep their own checklist snapshot.
- If condition photos are unavailable, confirm Photos access when iOS asks and check whether the starter tier photo limit has been reached.
- If custom package templates or higher starter limits are unavailable, confirm Detail Ledger Pro is active and use Restore Purchases in the Pro screen.
- If a PDF file is missing after sharing, check the destination app or folder you selected in the iOS share sheet.
- If a backup import skips records, review whether those records already exist on the device or depend on a vehicle, job or estimate that was not included in the backup.
Data and backups
Use Settings to export a local JSON backup, import a Detail Ledger backup after reviewing its contents, or delete all local app records from the device after confirmation. Existing records and backup export remain available even when Pro features are not active.
Purchases and restore
Detail Ledger Pro uses App Store-managed subscriptions. Purchases, subscription management and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Use Restore Purchases in the app if Pro features should already be unlocked.
