Pane Planner User Guide

How to set up rounds, manage customers, record visits, use Pro exports and understand private iCloud sync.

Start with your first round

Open Pane Planner and create a first round with at least one customer or property. Customer records can include a contact number plus standard address fields for house number or name, street, village, town and postcode. The starter tier supports one active round and up to 30 active customers. Pane Planner Pro unlocks larger active customer and round capacity.

Use Today for due work

Open Today to see the current round state, customers needing attention, the next customer to visit, route access and recent work. Use the primary visit action when you are ready to record the next outcome, notes and amount. Saving a visit rolls the next due date forward from the visit date using that customer's repeat interval.

Manage rounds and customers

Use Rounds to group customers into practical working routes. Open a round to check address readiness, drag customers into the order you want, suggest a faster order using Apple Maps services where addresses can be located, open customer pins in Apple Maps, or navigate to the next stop. Use Customers to search by name, contact number, address, notes, tags or round, and use filters for due, overdue or missing-address records. Open a customer to record a visit, prepare the latest invoice PDF when Pro is active, review history, edit details or delete the customer.

Edit customer details

From a customer detail screen, choose Edit to update the name, contact number, address fields, round, next due date, repeat interval, access notes, service notes and default price. Required names must be present before saving.

Record visits

The visit sheet supports Completed, Skipped, Deferred and Partial statuses. Add optional notes and an amount where useful. Pane Planner autosaves an in-progress visit draft if you cancel and return later.

Add proof photos with Pro

Pane Planner Pro includes proof photos. Choose proof photos from the visit sheet, review selected images, and remove any photo before saving. Photo deletion asks for confirmation before it removes the image from that visit record and future reports.

Export PDFs and CSV files

Pane Planner Pro includes invoice PDF export and CSV export. Open a customer with visit history to prepare the latest invoice PDF, then use Share to save, print, email or send the file through destinations available on your device. Open Settings, then Storage and exports, to share customer or visit CSV files.

Set business and invoice details

Open Settings to add business details and optional payment-instruction fields for invoice PDFs. Pane Planner only places these details on generated invoices; it does not process payments or initiate bank transfers.

Use optional private iCloud sync

Pane Planner stores records locally by default. In Settings, you can turn on private iCloud sync for supported record data through your own Apple iCloud account. Very large record sets may pause sync while remaining saved locally.

Restore purchases and get support

Use Restore Purchases in Settings if Pane Planner Pro should already be unlocked. Settings also links to this guide, support, the privacy policy and terms.
