What SecurePair is for
SecurePair helps you import, check and install your own WireGuard VPN profile on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It does not provide a VPN service, VPN servers, endpoints, accounts or hosted infrastructure.
Before you start
- Have a working WireGuard profile from your own server, router, VPN provider or administrator.
- Use a separate WireGuard identity for each Apple device where possible.
- Keep private keys and full profile files secure.
- Put your iPhone or iPad and Apple TV on the same local network before pairing.
Import a profile on iPhone or iPad
Open SecurePair on iPhone or iPad and use the Profile tab to add a WireGuard configuration. You can scan a QR code, import a configuration file or paste profile text. SecurePair checks the profile structure and shows key details such as endpoint, DNS and allowed IPs.
Install on the current device
Use the VPN tab to add the selected profile as a system VPN configuration on the current iPhone or iPad. iOS may ask for permission before installing or starting the VPN. SecurePair can manage the selected configuration, but the VPN connection itself depends on your profile and endpoint.
Pair with Apple TV
Open Secure Pair TV on Apple TV and go to the Receive or pairing screen. The Apple TV app shows a pairing QR code or code. Scan it from the iPhone or iPad app, then choose the Apple TV receiver when it appears.
Send a profile to Apple TV
After pairing, use the Send tab on iPhone or iPad to transfer the selected profile over your local network. Keep both apps open until SecurePair confirms the transfer. Only send profiles to Apple TV devices you trust.
Use the Apple TV app
The Apple TV app is designed for simple remote control navigation. Use Profiles to review the saved profile, VPN to add or manage the system VPN configuration, Receive to pair from iPhone or iPad, and Settings for support, privacy and reset options.
Troubleshooting
- If Apple TV is not found, confirm both devices are awake, unlocked where needed and on the same local network.
- If QR scanning fails, check Camera permission for SecurePair in iOS Settings.
- If local discovery fails, check Local Network permission for SecurePair in iOS Settings.
- If the VPN does not connect, test the same WireGuard profile with your provider or server and confirm the endpoint is reachable.
- If you reuse the same WireGuard identity on several devices, create separate peers on your WireGuard server instead.
Privacy and support
SecurePair is built around local setup. Read the Privacy Policy, Support page and Terms of Use for more detail.
